Adelaide Airport (ADL) sits just seven kilometres west of the city centre at West Beach, which makes it one of the most conveniently placed capital-city airports in Australia. It handles domestic services with Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Rex, along with international flights to Singapore, Auckland, Doha, Kuala Lumpur and beyond.
Convenient does not mean simple, though. The taxi rank builds a queue the moment two flights land together. Rideshare pickup means walking to a designated zone with your luggage and then waiting for a driver who may or may not turn up. Airport parking is expensive if you leave a car, and a hire car means paperwork before you have even left the building.
A pre-booked chauffeur transfer removes all of it. The vehicle is already at the airport when you land. The chauffeur is inside the arrivals hall with a name board. The luggage goes into the boot for you, the fare was agreed before you left home, and the car goes directly to your address — not to three other addresses first.
Arriving at Adelaide Airport
Adelaide operates a single integrated terminal (T1) for both domestic and international flights, so the meeting point is straightforward. For domestic arrivals, your chauffeur waits near the baggage claim area. For international arrivals, they wait outside the customs exit doors. Either way, look for your name on a board — and if you would rather skip the terminal entirely, we will meet you kerbside at the designated pick-up zone instead. Just say so when you book.
Departing from Adelaide Airport
For departures we work backwards from your flight. As a rule of thumb we recommend arriving 90 minutes before a domestic departure and three hours before an international departure, then add the drive time from your address. We will suggest a pickup time when you book, and we would rather be early than watch you sprint for a gate.
What a fixed fare actually covers
When we quote a fare, that is the amount you pay. It includes the drive, the chauffeur, luggage handling, meet & greet, flight tracking, child restraints and a reasonable amount of waiting time for a delayed flight. It does not creep upward because you hit traffic on Sir Donald Bradman Drive, and it does not double because you landed at 1am on New Year's Day.
